18.       Deal in(ব্যৱসায় কৰা) = He deals in rice.

19.       Deal with(ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা)= He does not know how to deal with a gentleman.

20.       Fall out(কাজিয়া কৰা)= Brother should not fall out with one another

21.       Far and wide(বহুদূৰ ব্যাপী) = within a year your name will spread far and wide.

22.       For good (চিরকাললৈ)= he left the country for good.

23.       Get off(নমা) = he got off the car.

32.       Look down upon(ঘিণ কৰা) = Do not look down upon the poor.

33.       Look for (খুজি ফুৰা)= I was looking for a spoon.

34.       Look into(অনুসন্ধান কৰা) = I shall look into the matter.

35.       Make out(বুঝি পোৱা) = I can not make out the meaning of this word.

36.       Make up(স্থিৰ কৰা) = He made up his mind to go to Mumbai.

37.       Neither nor(এটুও নহয় সেটুও নহয়) = he is neither good in English nor good in Assamese.

48.       Run over(চেপা দিয়া)=   A boy was run over by a car yesterday.

49.       See off(বিদায় বেলাত সাক্ষাৎ কৰে) = I went to the station to see off my friend.

50.       Send for(মাতি পঠোৱা) = Send for him this evening.

51.       Set up(প্ৰতিষ্ঠা কৰা) = they set up a high school in our area.

52.       Sit for(পৰীক্ষা দিয়া) = I shall not sit for the examination this year.

53.       So far as(যিমান লৈকে) = So far as I know he is a good person.

54.       Stand by(সাহায্য কৰা) = He stood by me in times of my danger.

55.       Take down(লিখি লোৱা)= Please take down whatever is said in the class.

56.       Take heart(উৎসাহিত হোৱা) = He took heart of my words.

57.       Take over (গ্ৰহণ কৰা)= He took over the charge from me.

58.       Take Over= He took over the charge from me

59.       Take to one’s bed (অসুস্থ হৈ বিছনাত থকা) = I took to bed due to fl

60.       Tell upon(ক্ষতি কৰা) =Over-exercise told upon my health.

61.       Turn down(নাকচ কৰা) = He turned down my proposal.
